Pediatric insomnia are very different from those of adult’s insomnia and can be difficult to identify in children.

Do we say also suffer from depression? Most parents do not know that children suffer from insomnia, even when their own children are suffering from it. To worsen the case, some kids will never report their sleeplessness to their parents.

Some major causes of insomnia in children are;

  • Stress
  • Watching scary movie
  • Side effects of certain medication
  • Environmental factors.

Parent should Monitor their children, some children stay awake to watch movie after light out, it’s could turn to be a habitual things. Patent should ensure that they are the last person to sleep in the house, they should ensure that all plug are disconnected and living room door locked.

I'm conclusion, parents should establish a good relationship with their children, so that they can disclose to them whatever they have challenges.
